Interference Colouring (multicolour)

Interference colouring is a complicated procedure that is only offered by a handful of companies in Europe. Alucol has longstanding experience with this colouring technique. Colours applied with interference colouring are much more vibrant: each change in light gradient offers a different colour experience.

The principle behind interference colouring is that a double anodisation layer is applied during the anodising phase using the dual-phase electrolyte procedure. Alucol offers the following colours using this procedure:

  • blue
  • blue/grey
  • anthracite
  • medium grey
  • green

These colours are UV and fade-resistant.
