Vives Campus Kortrijk

Vives (Catholic University) wanted the department student services STUVO (student facilities), provide an independent character by an own office at the entrance of the campus in Kortrijk. Vives also wanted a characteristic  building because it leads to the access of the campus. The new office is partially a conversion and partly an extension of an existing building. The structure of the office mainly consists of individual offices and small office environments, completed by two meeting rooms and a lounge. The presence of mainly individual offices is personalized to the individual approach to each student. Student counseling  and psychological support are important elements of STUVO. The division into offices translates more or less in the facade where every large glazed surfaces are bordered by bronze anodized perforated aluminum sheets. This makes the façade a fascinating and expressive whole.
